Hossegor, Francia

Year: 2015

Client: HURLEY

In a record time of one week in mid-June 2015, we mounted an ephemeral wooden construction to accommodate the HURLEY SURF SCHOOL. The scenery was quite spectacular in the French Aquitaine Hossegor Beach. The building was to be dismantled at the end of the season, store it and reassemble at the next season. We chose a modular gantries and joists in Douglas pinewood armed without screws using “cola milano” joints and coated in wood siding also polycarbonate by outside and wood boards by inside. With the same objective, the foundation was made with Poliedre modular system, because it perfectly met the requirement of transport, mounting fast, easy placement and about the possibility of dismantling equally at the end of the season. We are very proud because thanks to the planning and the chosen systems, it met the requirements of our client in half the expected time.
